Mobility Scooters...the work of the devil?

Am so much happier with this more grown up template. Can't believe I was posting in all that pink!
I am having a Friday moan. After following an invalid car, (from what feels like all the way from Trowbridge) I would like to know exactly what rights these disability cars have? Are they supposed to be on the roads or the pavements? They don't pay road tax do they? So surely the pavement is the place for these contraptions. I am extremely sorry for people with disabilities....but quite frankly...drive on the bloody pavement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you have trouble with mobility scooters because the mirros catch you in the eye ,being at the same level?

But I walk on the pavement... AND I've got a bad leg. They'll run me down!

I honestly didn't realise it WAS your template.

You really must be my long lost evil twin.

Can I keep it?

of course you may but you have to admit you are the evil one

Trouty...if you have a bad leg, you know what the answer is don't you?

I see people with those scooters all the time at the casino; I really think they should be outlawed, because they are low to the ground and VERY fast. Someday I will be walking through the casino and get run down by an 80-year-old woman going 22 miles an hour...

Oh, and I think Alex should admit that this template looks better on you than on her. (Not that it does, actually; I just like to stir things up.)

I can argue either side of this. Mobility problems suck. But creating more mobility problems by running healthy people down doesn't seem to be such a good idea, either.

I don't like that you copied Meme's format--it confuses me.

For Christmas I'll buy you a Hoveround

Years ago, when I married my first husband (never trust a skinny man) we went to Disney Florida. I found it totally intriguing that there were a helluva lot of plebains out there, who didn't have mobility problems, they were just too gynormous (is that a real word?) to walk around the theme park in the heat...so they used the mobility scooters provided.

And Alex...I'm not giving your template back, I like this one meself...so :oP

I will try and change some colours though, will that make things better?

Roger, I know you are right. Mobility problems do suck. My mother is moving to Canada soon, and she is starting to suffer with arthritis.

I have hysterical visions of her stuck in the snow on a mobility scooter shouting at the top of her voice in a cockney accent for somebody to "Give us a push, mate".

Thank you Emma. That is my daughter with me, Elizabeth Rose who we call Dizzy or Lizzy. She is three.

I am not allowed to talk about her in the presence of Alex, she is the Queen from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang reincarnated.

Meme,
Is Clanky one of those people who have perfect children? Children who are brilliant for their age, who are advanced and have an exquisite inner AND outer beauty?

Clanky,
I love the name Elizabeth Rose :)

she's three and she's the tallest child ever she runs the fastest , she has vocabulary that puts dr Johnson to shame,She's taking her A levels next year if she can just put down war and peace in the original russian in order to fit the exams in ;)

Ohhh A bit backward then. Whereas my kids . . . . . . .

My daughter is horribly tall compared with me. She does speak well, and is quite advanced, but I think that does happen more with only children.

She doesn't share very well however. I told the women at nursery I am modelling her on Nellie Olsen.
