i had a cake with a doll in it when i was 4. i still have the doll. it is almost an antique.
Thanks for the link. I have never really understood the novelty of erm...well novelty cakes.
I think I actually made one of those lady cakes once. The lady (just the top half of a lady, with a pompadour hairdo) was made of china. You make a cake in a pudding basin then turn the cake upside down so that it looks like a crinolin. Stick the lady in the top and then ice the cake.
