Films I really want to see, but have never got round to watching.
The Remains of the Day
Shadowlands
Roman Polanskis Oliver Twist
Finding Neverland
Gosford Park
Miss Potter
Memoirs of a Geisha
Chocolat
I have three of these on dvds waiting to be watched and yet STILL haven't got round to watching them. Which ones aren't even worth bothering with? And hopefully it won't be the ones I have already spent my hard earned money on.

liked gosford park and chocolat and I think you will too , specially gosford park
i enjoyed chocolat. finding neverland was about a 3 on a scale of 1-10.
did i ever mention that i know the woman who wrote chocolat? when i say i know her i rally mean that her mother was my french teacher at school and i met her just the once at my school reuniuon
Wow Miss Susan! My next blog, of course, will be on "Claims to Fame".
Finding Neverland is one of the dvds I have Spidey!
Gosford Park...I have watched the start twice and then fallen asleep. I'm sure it's not boring, but I am a tired bint :oD
i don't like going to the movies and i rarely rent. most movies that come out aren't interesting to me. i did want to see chocolat, but i never think of it. my main goal is to never see horror films, too many blow 'em up films, or stupid comedys that only 15 year old boys like. these last three types of movies are what my guy likes to watch and i get bitched at to go along.

Oh man, what different tastes people have I'd give Finding Neverland an 8. I loved that movie, and I loved Gosford Park. I've never made it through the movie of Remains of the Day, but did enjoy the novel. I have no desire to ever see Memoirs of a Geisha--I couldn't finish the book...bleah.
If I could stand Rene Zewiggggger (however you spell it), I'd watch Miss Potter, because Beatrix fascinates, but bleah on Rene.
I loved Gosford Park--but then I'm a Robert Altman fan.
I'd like to see Miss Potter, although Renee Zellwegger has fallen out of favor with me the last couple of years.
I saw Chocolat. It was okay.
Remains of the Day....very good.
Have no desire to see the others you mentioned.

Jilly I sympathise with everything you say. I don't really agree with horror films anyway. In my perfect facist world they would be banned. I never understand why anyone would want to see people being shot and drug running type films... and quite frankly, how anyone can find American Pie films funny is beyond me.
Rosa...funnily enough, I have the memoirs of a Geish book here that I haven't started too.
I wonder why none of us like Rene?! Is it jsut the male population who adore her I wonder?
I must confess to only having seen Chocolat which is very good but the book is better!
