It's like thunder....lightning...

I have changed my picture (for the last bloody time) cos Stew said the last one didn't even look like me. And I always have either sunglasses or reading glasses on me 'ead.

It was Stews last game for Frome Town for the season, so now we have Saturdays free for the next couple of months. Get the Witham Friary games over on a Sunday and we will be getting whole weekends without football! Absolute bliss!

Stews auntie is coming over from the Emerald Isle for the weekend, so I am gutted it is supposed to rain this weekend. Of course, it is a Bank Holiday, so it is English Law that the heavens will open.

i feel for you. my guy likes to watch college and professional sports 5 days a week from august until april. I am so glad he's decided baseball is a stupid sport (like they all aren't?) and I get a break. However, then there's the video games, the fantasy sports and ESPN classic (sports channel that shows games from 20 years ago) and various other sports things i try to stay out of. To make it worse, he's involved with the sports teams year round at his high school.

Stew plays football for two teams.

A Saturday semi-professional league and then a Sunday pub league. then there is training at least twice a week and golf to fit in.

TV in our house consists of Football, WWF, Golf and F1. But only since Jenson has been racing.

Frome is pronounced Froom. As in broom and zoom.

Bath is pronounced Baf if you are a common chav, or Northern (koff) or Barth, if you are a sexy southern softie like myself.

thank god we don't do NASCAR, but my best friend does, and i have to sit there and hear about it. i finally asked her how it's a physical activity, which a sport is, unless holding your pee for 5 hours of boredom is the real test.

i told my guy that his fall football will be limited to two days a week once the baby is here, as he can't have monday, wednesday, thursday and all day saturday and sunday to himself to watch his three teams (who lose a lot). this also means he has to give up local soccer (boys and girls) in the evenings or has to trade off with a football event. It's mainly because he'll be off from work at 2:30 and I'll be done at 5pm, and it's stupid to pay for extended day care so he can enjoy sports.

I thank god every day he turned dow the three coaching offers he's had and stick to running the press box.

I am sooo lucky my man only likes to watch Wales play International Rugby Union which I love too so I don't have to suffer like the rest of you.

Yes, but if I don't go and watch him, he gets all hurt and gets his puppy dog eyes out.
