In the last 4 days, my daughter has watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 6 times. It is so unusual for us to find anything she will actually sit and watch, I have let her do it. She laughs her head off to the haircutting machine and Arthur Mullard, sings along to all the songs, and thinks she is Truly Crunchy. As she likes to call her.

One of my favorite movies. But the guy who collected children terrified me. Not enough to keep me from watching if it aired, though. Once I put up a little tape recorder to the tv speaker so I could collect the songs. Remember them twirling like life sized music boxes?
