I had *no* idea what you were talking about, so I actually Googled it. I'm still not sure, but other people seem to be asking the same question.
When we were kids and dog owners didn't have to clean up their dogs mess, you wold always see white dog poo. And although you see the occasional brown poo that a careless owner has not scooped, you never see white dog poo anymore.

is it something to do with eating bones
i think it turns whitish after it lays there for a while and dries up. perhaps you were seeing aged poo.
