First day went well. She didn't cry at all, just marched straight in and wouldn't let me help her hang her coat or anything motherly. I only welled up a bit. I have a big concern that there are 7 girls in the class and 18 boys....but there isn't a lot I can do about it. I solemnly swear this will be last Lizzy post in eons.

she is a most beautiful child. please don't stop posting pictures.
she looks so cute and did a good job of letting you take a picture. the only kids who wear school uniforms here are the kids who go to gang populated schools. i'm not sure how i feel about a uniform, it seems like i'd be under a lot of pressure to do way more laundry than i currently do.

They all wear uniform. I hated wearing it when I was 16 and in sixth form, but I think it's a good thing for the younger ones. Then the underpriviliged kids look the same as the rich kids.
Thats all right because I bet there's no more than 2 male teachers in the whole school. The lack of Male primary school teachers drives me insane
Clanky,
Lizzy is very beautiful AND smart! She'll do nicely.
And I'm VERY pro-school uniform. When my son was younger he went to a parochial school who did the uniform thing. I loved it! IN HS he wears what he wants--and it's baggy-assed pants and huge white t shirts. ugh

At least he's not wearing pajama pants.
Lizzy is adorable. I have a feeling she'll have all those boys eating out of her hand.
the only males that go into early educational school here go into it because after 4 years, they can become the principal (head master) or vice principal.

She looks darling!
