You need to have "rows" more often, then they wouldn't upset you so much!
I think the least you can do is tell us what it was about so we can pass judgement on who si right and stew is wrong
Of course I am right. I am woman.
When I started learing to drive, I think he thought I would never pass my test. So his exact words were..."If you pass your test, I'll buy you a mini." So last night I asked him how much he had to spend (although we have a joint account, we also have separate savings, except all mine have gone on lessons) and he looked at me as though I was mad, and said he had no idea where I got the idea that he was going to buy me a car.
I am not so much upset about the car, it's the fact that I have told everyone that "Stew looks after me, he is buying me a mini" and now everyone is going to be asking me where my car is. I have a good mind to make him sell his £6000 car and split the profits. I am only asking for a £500 mini ffs.
It is bad enough that I have to tell people that he won't marry me. Now I will be telling them he isn't buying me a car either.
He is trying to be nice to me now and trying to get on my good side. I am one of those girls who will cut off their nose to spite their faces.
In his defence, not that there is much of one. I possibly have pmt.

What the hell is up with this "shelf" shit? I've wasted the last hour going over all these blogs, and I've come to the conclusion that you're all very, very, very lonely and friendless!! Sheeeit, and that's just after reading your blogs, I wonder how bad it would be after I read some of your chatroom transcripts!!

in our (shelfers) lame defense most of us shelfers don't go into the chatroom anymore. but when we did, it was actually pretty good, then it sucked and we left. c'est la vie.
clank, he should buy you the mini because he said he would and you shouldn't feel bad for it either, because he said he would. people take promises too lightly, especially to loved ones.
you're worth more than a 500 pound mini and if that's all it costs him, then he should be lucky he didn't say something really stupid like "i'll buy you a beamer if you pass."
does it bother you that he won't marry you? i think weddings themselves are for the family, not the couple, and marriages are what you make them. you and stew have been together for years and raise a child together, that's marriage imo.
if you really need that official document that says you're together, then you need it and should stress the getting of it. if you need that paper and stew hates it more than he loves you, then maybe your relationship isn't stable enough for that paper anyway. If you don't care and he doesn't care but others do, tell them to piss off as it's not their relationship and you're happy (except for the mini issue).
