I am so happy for you clank. I generally dislike driving and feel that most people who are out driving shouldn't be allowed to, but I couldn't imagine having to depend on someone else as much as you have to when you can't drive yourself. Now you need to drive over to Alex's house and get her to do it too. Now, will you get your own car, or will you share with Stew. It just hit me how really different our cultures are. If you don't get your license between 16-18-years-old in the US, people look at you like something's wrong with you. It's also relatively easy to get and hard to lose.
I don't enjoy driving.I failed twice when I was 17 and failed once last year. However, we would eventually like to move to a village, and there is no way I could live in a village and not drive...it wouldn't be fair on Lizzy. And village shops are so few and far between now.
I will not be sharing with Stewart, he has a huge Landrover thing. I am getting a small, very old, very beat up Mini :o)
Well done Jackie... you did one better than me I passed 5th time but where I live you HAVE to be able to drive or become house bound... well done again

Good for you, Clank.
I think it sounds adorable that you'd live in a "village".
