And a band of angels wrapped up in my heart

My mobile phone has been on a washing machine adven ture this week. I finally got it dried out, and then left in on the windowsill. When my friend phoned and phoned, it vibrated so much, it fell into the washing up water. Was it Schell who dropped hers down the toilet? Did hers ever recover?

Lizzy went to bed one night this week, and sneaked her Silly Putty up there with her. She fell asleep with it and in the morning it was everywhere. I hd to cut it out of her hair, and although I tried the Marge Simpson trick with the ice on gum, I had to throw the nightdress out.

Stew is doing the London Run this weekend. If he does complete it and all his sponsors pay up, he should raise £700 for a local cancer charity.

I have finally finished college this week. So now I REALLY have to find a job.

Only 24 days till our holiday! I really must get some holiday insurance.

where are you going? wtf is holiday insurance?

i was getting my haircut the other day and a woman came in with a brush stuck in it so bad they had to cut the brush out. the woman insisted on getting hair extensions even though the hairdresser explained that you need at least 4 inches of hair to do the weave and that white women should NEVER get braids like that.

i didn't notice a big chunk of missing hair, i think what they had to cut out was an under layer. poor woman should have listened to the woman who fixed her hair and should never ever try to curl her hair with a brush again.

In the UK we have National Health, so that if we get ill, we don't pay. But if we go abroad, the NHS doesn't cover it, so we need to get insurance. Also, if you were to lose any valuables or cause an accident or anything.

We are going to Canada, to my mums.

I loved the hairdresser story. I work with a white girl who goes out with a black guy. She thinks she is black, and gets her hair braided and stuff. It looks dire.

I still call Snickers Marathons, as a matter of principle.

It was me, and it did dry out. My 9 button just stuck after that. Try putting it in a jar full of rice...the rice will supposedly absorb all the moisture.

Mavis is right the Post Office are doing good deals on Travel Insurance. Ffion only paid £12.50 for hers but that was because she was under 18 but it didn't matter that she was travelling on her own.
